This album is a great example of the connection between music and our own personal changing tastes as we journey through life. I am totally embarrassed to admit that when I first heard this album (over 10 years ago) I loathed it.
I daily ask Lucinda's forgiveness in my prayers, now! Because it is now one of my TOP 3 FAVOURITES.
With just one caveat: I still struggle with track one, but that is only because I find Lucinda's open hearted honesty too much, sometimes. So I often bottle out of the first track and skip to track 2 for the beginning of my treatment.
I tend to work mainly in the life transforming realms, these days - I am blessed with those kind of 'seeker' clients, luckily. What absolutely 'blows my barnacles' is the way in which this album touches the heart of the child within each and every one of us and is so uncompromisingly spiritual.
So don't be put off by the hippy flowers on the cover - this is Lucinda at her most demanding and raw. I defy any client to spend an hour wrapped up in this music without coming out of the treatment totally cleansed and healed of all pain. Listen to 'Child' and if you like that track you will like the whole album.
